Every day is a day to celebrate the women in our lives, but we’d like to take today as an opportunity to announce our Woman Crush Wednesday series. Every week on Wednesday, we’ll profile women who deserve a little extra love.
We know a lot of amazing women, and we think you do too. If you know an amazing woman, send us their information and we'd love to feature them on our social media! We're looking to highlight authors, grad students, entrepreneurs, activists, moms, and all around badasses!
And since today is the ULTIMATE day to recognize women, we’ll launch our series (on a Thursday) with someone very close to me, my mom.
Linda Correa is a two-time cancer survivor and published author. Her book, Abrazando Al Gigante Que Hay En Ti, was recently translated and launched this year as Embracing the Giant Within. Her book is a narrative of love, love in the form of support by others and love in the form of inner strength.
I am proud of her for this and so many reasons, but most of all, because taught me strength, courage, love, and faith simply by being herself. Thank you, mom, and congratulations!
